Content Analysis of the "Physical World" Magazine of the Greek Physicists Association

This work aims at the sample analysis of the content of the magazine "Physical World" of the Union of Greek Physicists. In order to perform the above analysis, we will take as an example a quantity of 40 items of this magazine. The issues studied are chronologically in the period 1966-2005. In this way we will be able to understand in depth the language used by the magazine, the content, the structure as well as the course and the evolution of the magazine in relation to its passing time. Initially, we will refer to the popularization of science. Then we will deal with the authors of the magazine "Physics World" to finally focus our attention on the magazine itself and on its contribution to the diffusion of Science in both education and research. In addition, we will attempt to present and explain the methodology used. The findings that will result from this processing will help us to come up with interesting conclusions.
