Summary:
The present thesis examines and analyzes hate crimes that occur in Greece and abroad, aiming to depict the existing theoretical approaches regarding the motivation of the perpetrator and the reasons for the occurrence of the events under consideration. The examination of the phenomenon is not only theoretical, the author also conducted a secondary survey to measure the correlation between hate crime indicators and social, economic and political conditions.
