Summary:
School and teachers are not only required to translate their knowledge into the younger generation, but to treat students holistically, taking sociological criteria into account. Teachers are asked to equip students with the skills they will need to meet the ever-increasing challenges of the future. These skills include communication skills, management of emotions and thoughts, stress management, and stressful situations. As a result, the role of teachers, who are called upon to respond to their new tasks, is crucial.
But are the teachers ready and / or properly prepared for this? This is one of the purposes of the survey. To investigate the readiness of teachers and to try to intervene in order to equip them with the appropriate tools to fulfill their function. The intervention is based on the Reaching In Reaching Out program, which was created in Canada and adapted by the researcher for the purposes of this intervention.
