This diploma research concerns the acquaintance with Peer Counseling, as it is applied in the field of Higher Education through the look and the experiences of the volunteers peer counselors of a Counseling Center of Higher Education.
The following paper consists of two main parts: the theoretical and the research, which contain, respectively, basic data on counseling and peer counseling, the theoretical background of this field, its appearance in the field of education and especially of Higher education, while the research part presents the purpose and methodology of the research, its general design, as well as a detailed presentation of its findings. Finally, the findings are linked to the existing literature and some conclusions are drawn.
