Summary:
In this paper I will analyze the phenomenon of populism in connection with the election campaign of SYRIZA, New Democracy and Golden Dawn in the Greek parliamentary elections of September 2015. In order to investigate the issue, I will examine the pre-election television interviews of the political leaders of these three parties who have achieved the highest votes, as well as their official pre-election television spots.
My work is divided into three (3) key parts. In the first part, I will present the available Greek and international bibliography on the phenomenon of populism, while in the second part I will analyze the qualitative research I have conducted. The last section describes in detail all the conclusions of my work.
