Summary:
The present diploma thesis "Creation and Evaluation of a Digital Games’ Stock for the Physics Lesson of the 5th and the 6th Grade of the Primary School" aims at identifying, documenting, evaluating and storing digital games that can be used in the context of the educational process for Primary Education.
The first part of the thesis consists of the theoretical framework of the subject. This includes issues related to New Technologies, digital games, teaching of Science and the inclusion of digital games in that process. Afterwards, the methodology of the research process is presented, including its design and implementation. Subsequently, the research results follow, while lastly the final conclusions and the evaluation of the effort are mentioned.
The results presented lead us to the conclusion that the objective of upgrading the existing educational process can also be achieved through the use of digital games. During that process proper planning and well considered implementation in the classroom are necessary. They could be an important complementary tool within the science course, enriching and contributing to the improvement of the learning and teaching process.
