Summary:
This diploma thesis deals with the basic of the Statistics data and Probabilities. In particular, we are looking at the key positioning and dispersal measures. Also, the most basic distributions are presented for the study of representative samples. The main results of the survey were presented to students aged 17-18. In particular, the main factors influencing student performance are examined. In the first chapter we have an introduction to Statistics. The second chapter presents risk measures and basic distributions. Here are the types, basic definitions and remarks that are deemed necessary for the next chapters. The third chapter starts with the questionnaire given to students (based on exam questions) and then analyzes the results. The final chapter highlights the causes (positive and negative) of student performance in Mathematics in general and in Statistics in particular.
