Evaluation and research on the efficiency of clinics in Greece and specially in Crete

This diploma thesis presents the clinics in Greece and examines their effectiveness in the area of Crete. The 7th HR is an important and interesting area for research and study. The 7th Healthcare Region of Crete is based in Heraklion and its responsibilities are exercised as a whole in the Healthcare Region of Crete.
Crete as a whole, has one of the highest indices of Greece, which reflects the great development of new infrastructure on the island. For this conclusion, factors other than health system, such as population density and geographic area covered by the structures under consideration, should be taken into account.
This diploma compares the hospitals by region and per year, as well as the calculation of their efficiency.
