Summary:
Patient's euphoria, as Hippocrates supports, is an essential element. The measurement of patient's satisfaction about provided health services of orthopedic clinics of General Hospital of Attica "KAT" is an important process for exploring their needs , opinions and suggestions. The satisfaction of patients must be legal and moral obligation of each society. The purpose of this research is to measure patient's satisfaction from the health services provided by the orthopedic clinics of General Hospital of Attica "KAT". The first objective of this thesis is to measure how satisfied the patients are by the scientific and administrative staff of the hospital. The second objective is to measure how satisfied the patients are by the provided services, logistics and hotel infrastructure of the hospital. For the purposes of the survey, the quantitative sampling method is considered as the most appropriate. The data collection will be carried out using a structured questionnaire with open and closed questions. The sample will be randomly selected from patients treated in different orthopedic clinics of General Hospital of Attica "KAT ".The results of this research confirm the satisfaction of patients about the provided health services by scientific and administrative staff and the dissatisfaction about the logistics and infrastructure of the hospital. Based on the scientific community , such research is indisputably necessary. The measurement results for patient satisfaction by health services are a global way for the assessment of these services , contributes to their continuous improvement, increases their validity and their credibility. Thus, there is a creation of strong foundation of trust between hospital clinics and patients.
