Adolescent addiction to online gaming - prevention and treatment
Summary:
This paper analyzes the concept of Internet, which is a new technology that has affected the world and offers many benefits to its users but at the same time has a negative impact. Some people are totally addicted to the internet, cannot control their use and endanger their work and relationships. The concept of "internet addiction" has been explained as an uncontrollable, destructive use of technology. Electronic online games have evolved into something more than games, but rather are self-contained three-dimensional societies. Each game has its own scenery of forests, meadows, beaches, mountains and cities. Players can enter and evolve collectively in these virtual worlds. This thesis studies the theoretical background of internet related concepts and expound their correlation with teenagers.
