The basic goal and the objective of the thesis is the presentation and the analysis of the ways that the Napoleonic regime effected on Europe's societies, during the period of the First French Empire (1804-1815), and in the wider period then followed, which starts from the Congress of Vienna and ends with the greatest events of national and political unity in Italy and Germany, and the establishment of the Third French Republic (1815-1871).
