Summary:

This thesis deals with the use of music technology software in rhythm education. The main objective is to evaluate whether adult women aged 20-60 can use music technology to understand the musical rhythm without parallel teaching by the teacher. The research questions concerned whether participants were able to discern basic rhythm patterns and pauses if they perceived and could be synchronized at the rate given to each exercise. In other words, they have a rhythm (Rozakis, 2004).
