Summary:
This thesis aims to explore diversity in primary education (5th and 6th class) through the relationships between foreign and native pupils. It is consisted of two parts, the theoretical one and the research.In the theoretical part are presented and analyzed the concepts of intercultural education as well as elements concerning the relations of the pupils.In addition, teachers' positions on multicultural classes, as well as the role of the family, are analyzed.The survey involved 247 pupils who were asked to answer questionnaires (Johnson & Johnson 1983).The method of statistical analysis resulted in 12 factors, the comparison and correlation of which revealed the differences and similarities of the two pupil groups, the points of convergence and divergence, as well as the differentiated needs of the two groups are evident.
