Geopolitical analysis of the geopolitical agent of the financial support of certain Islamic radical organizations from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, considered as Power Supersystems, in the Maghreb - Middle East Complex (Export of a model of reallocation trends to this System)
Summary:
This paper is a postgraduate dissertation entitled: Geopolitical Analysis of the Geopolitical Agent of the Financial Support of Specific Islamic Radical Organizations from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Considered as Power Supersystems, in the Maghreb - Middle East Complex (Exporting a Model of Reallocation Trends in System).
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the geopolitical analysis of the financial support of specific Islamic radical organizations such as the Islamic State, Hamas, Al-Qaeda, AQAP, AQIM and Al-Nusra from Saudi Arabia and Qatar , with Islamist organizations active in the Maghreb - Middle East complex, and finally, the export of an approximate geopolitical model, which will predict trends in power reallocation in the geographic system.
The geographical Complex of the Maghreb - Middle East is characterized by a particular geopolitical, geostrategic and geo-economic value, as it consists of areas where important communication and transport routes pass, has the largest known oil and gas reserves, is trapped by chronic conflicts, to develop asymmetric threats to regional and international stability and security. This system presents ethnic and economic heterogeneity. It consists mainly of nations - states, with low levels of security and large economic and social disparities.
During the elaboration of the thesis, Systemic Geopolitical Analysis (SGA) and its interdisciplinary approach are implemented in the Maghreb - Middle East Complex. An in-depth analysis of geopolitical extensions comes from the financial support of specific Islamic radical organizations from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who act as Supersystemic actors. We then compose a Geopolitical pattern of power redistribution tendencies and describe the geopolitical dynamics that the "Complicated Power" that is caused by the operation of the Geopolitical Agent under consideration, the behavior of the System to be studied in the environment of the Hyper System.
The last part of the geopolitical analysis is the phase of the Conclusions. At this stage, as well as at any other stage of the geopolitical analysis, we do not make proposals or put forward personal desires of national, ideological or economic content. Geopolitical analysis is fully geared to real and cross-referenced data.
The methodology of Systemic Geopolitical Analysis, which we will use in the work, aims to investigate political events, international relations, and related power redistribution tendencies, due to the geopolitical factor's impact on the Maghreb -Middle East System.
The reason the researcher has chosen the specific methodology for working out is that the SGA's epistemological background provides the ability to achieve predictive predictability in the study of international phenomena. Additionally, this methodology rejects the subjective, vague and verbal presentation of the events. It is abstract and the researcher can make a successful prediction, even in a geostrategic composition (if requested) with safe conclusions and suggestions.
The financial support of the abovementioned Islamist radical organizations from Qatar and Saudi Arabia is a major geopolitical factor for security and stability in the Maghreb - Middle East Complex. The two Gulf oil-rich countries continue to provide financial and logistical support to internationally recognized terrorist organizations such as ISIS, Hamas, Al-Nusra and Al-Qaeda with its branches.
The Maghreb - Middle East System is one of the most volatile geographical locations with a wide range of conflicts. The United States, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Qatar make up a geopolitical puzzle that influences most areas of the System. Both long-term and emerging outbreaks of tension are expected to continue to maintain the already tense climate.
Islamic fundamentalism, exploiting on the one hand the feeling of oppression experienced by a significant part of the Muslim world, stemming either from the colonial past or the abusive power of internal and external actors, and, on the other hand, the indifference of the West on Muslim thinking and Islam's primary position in society, is a tool in the struggle of the internal actors of the System to prevail at a political-religious level. The main expression of Islamic radicalism is modern Islamist terrorism, with ISIS and Al-Qaeda terrorist organizations being the main exponents.
In conclusion, as long as the regimes in the region, with Qatar and Saudi Arabia prominent, continue to provide financial support to Islamist extremist organizations, Islamic fundamentalism and, consequently, Islamist terrorism, in combination with massive movements of populations both internally and on the outside of the System, will find ground and challenges for international security will continue to grow.
