The news coverage of political affairs of Greece through informative websites during the third Memorandum: An empirical investigation

On this study, I would like to shed light on the news coverage of the political timeliness of Greece, through informational websites at a specific phase of the economic crisis, the enactment of the third memorandum of understanding.

As it was expected the enactment of the third memorandum remained high in the Greek informational websites, despite the fact that important domestic social affairs were competing for the attraction of the media.

The Greek media plays an important role in the formation of the public opinion in order to deal with the third loan agreement. Adopting the content of analysis in its quantitative dimension, the research in final analysis tries to shed light on the particularities of the journalistic practice related to the promotion of the policy of an important field from which stem all the public policies of the society. The research specializes on the daily detection of issues in the informative media, also on the localization of basic frames which are reclaimed by the media as far as the presentation of the political action is concerned.
