Participatory Music Interactive Creation: The Perception, intention and recruitment of a novel music work using or not electronic material.
Summary:
This study is part of a wider field that examines the relationship that develops between the creator, performer and audience as well as the contribution of emotions and thoughts that are created and interact with the creation and reconstruction of musical work with or without electronic material.
The dissertation focuses on the stages of musical creation from the composer's intent, the recruitment of the audience, the performer or the listener, to the evaluation and the final configuration of the musical work.
The perpetual process of forming an original musical work and generally the musical reality is approached in the light of the trilateral distribution of Nattiez, on the basis of which participatory interactive music is developed. Furthermore, empirical research is being carried out to investigate the recruitment of the author's intentions by the listener. The survey is conducted on a sample of N = 74 and represents three groups of listeners: inexperienced, experienced and specialized.
As a research topic of the present study, the use of an integrated piece is used on the one hand, on the other, an electro-acoustic music project using electronic material. An integrated project is used and is compared in two versions. The hearings are accompanied by a series of questionnaires, participation, and categorization of the participants as well as listening and recording the response of the two versions of the project.
The most appropriate way of presenting and promoting the research process is to use a website that contains all of the research material and is easy to access, with no time commitment to implement the participation.
