Breast disorders during lacation
Summary:
Good disorders that occur during the lactation period can be prevented by knowing the predisposing factors. Otherwise, with appropriate information, appropriate measures can be addressed by maintaining breastfeeding for as long as the mother-infant double.
Concerning to breast cancer, breastfeeding works protectively and reduces the risk of developing. This risk decreases even more as the total duration of lactation increases in the life of the woman. The data show that only 3% of patients with breast cancer will experience it during the lactation period. There is a difficulty in recognizing because of the natural differentiation of the breast, but with early diagnosis and following the right treatment, it can be treated and, depending on the circumstances, even continuing breastfeeding.
The patients after completing breast cancer treatment often assume they will not be able to breastfeed in an impending pregnancy. Breastfeeding after breast cancer is difficult to achieve, but there are few times when women finally do it. In the case of radiotherapy, only 34% of women after radiation had adequate galactogenesis. The success of nursing after surgery depends on the type of surgery and the percentage of functional tissue that will remain. To breastfeed a woman safely should have stopped chemotherapy because drugs like tamoxifen make breastfeeding prohibitive. Finally, there is no indication that milk from a mother who has previously been treated for breast cancer increases the risk of illness for the child.
