Titans of Euripides Laskarides, a decostractive reading
Summary:
In this paper we will attempt a deconstruction reading of Titans of Euripides Laskaridis. It is about the second part of a potential trilogy whose preamble was the performance Relic while the third part will become to life in the future. The director and his team Osmosis work with two fundamental elements: ridiculous and transformation. In our effort to describe and analyze this particular case of artistic creation we will use the Derrida’s degradation methodology and the psychanalytic theory of Freud. Lastly, we will chase the commonplaces with Deleuze’s philosophy who in collaboration with Guattari at the book What is philosophy? Describes an endless route from the finite to the infinity, and the return to the beginning, fact that features Osmosis work and specially the example of Titans performance that we will analyze
