Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to identify or reject the bank penetration case of the other listed companies and to make a comparison of the existing situation in this field between the selected years. Greece's macroeconomic situation in 1968 was better than in 1984 as all macroeconomic indicators were in better shape than in 1984. Initially, it is noted that both years, which essentially represent two different seasons of the Greek economy , there is a significant participation of the bank executives in the Boards of the listed Greek Companies.However, two remarks should be made. According to the first, banking penetration in enterprises is more pronounced in 1968 than in 1984, and according to the latter, the penetration is most of the public-sector-controlled enterprises controlled by the government.
