DIGITALITY AND NEW NARRATIVES OF THE IMAGINARY - PROGRAMMING CONDITIONS OF ANTHROPOLOGICAL SITUATIONS
Summary:
In this paper I attempt an approach of digital technology and examine it through its own tools and applications which are realized in modern civilization. The context opened by this performance and the functionality of digital technologies creates an evolutionary field of human encounter with new forms of materiality. The conceptual definition of this material is what I call digitality. Digital technology is concerning a new narrative organization of the World and of the Reality, a new worldview. The thesis develops as an interdisciplinary project as I choose methodological ways from different but related areas of scientific knowledge. By using this complex epistemological and methodological approach I propose to draw up a generalized conceptual framework on the basis of which we could: Describe, understand and interpret the whole of the digital process both in the practical and the theoretical field of its manifestations. Because in this new technological development of digitality I find important points of weak theoretical competence and the absence of appropriate conceptual terms, elements that would satisfy a more complete conception of the new reality if there was the possibility of their interdisciplinary supervision. For the above reasons and with a tool of synthesis of methodological approaches I summarize a development plan that could be the core of a theoretical conceptual triptych with distinct implementation steps and the following order:
i. I propose to define terms that will be useful in conceiving this "new reality". ii. We also apply modern methodological tools from rigorous scientific disciplines such as anthropology, biology, philosophy of language, psychology, phenomenology and philosophy of emotions, as well as quantum mechanics, topology and abstract mathematics. iii. Finally, form a unified theoretical platform, a background with the perspective of a theory, which we will harmonize in the most complete with modern epistemological and knowledge-expectations requirements.
