Summary:
This study is conducted with the purpose of determining and examining the healthcare professionals’ exposure to mobbing behaviors and its relation with the role of organizational culture in private and public sector. Demographic and occupational information were obtained through bibliographic references. Relevant studies indicate the extension of the phenomenon, whereas a direct implication to recent economic crisis is improbable due to lack of precedents. This study found that there is no relevant research in Greece in a private hospital. Extensive field investigation, changes in healthcare system organization and education are possible solutions.
