Summary:
This work expects to be an incentive for the professionals in education and especially the school teachers to get acquainted with the cultural wealth and the multiple values that accompanies it, as well as the strengthening of their cultural consciousness, but above all their involvement with their pupils in the future of the specific scientific field. It encourages teachers to become aware of and respond to critical issues of preservation and protection of cultural heritage and antiquities, and in particular to pass on to their students the endless value of protecting the cultural heritage. In particular, primary education is an institutionalized organizational system of education and learning processes provided by the state that has been created to be renewed in the context of social and cultural developments while always aiming at education and all-round development of the new generation.We also accept that it is imperative to invest in culture through education in order to preserve our cultural heritage and bequeath it to the next generations.
Based on the above principles and with a tool for school teaching, which should include not only information but also attitudes, values, behaviors, feelings, experiences in a relationship between student and teacher exchange, this work specifically addresses the educational approach of the thematic field the protection of antiquities, aiming at highlighting the importance of the preservation and protection of monuments, as well as in the effective sensitization of primary school pupils, which is also the basic cell of the general education of students in these subjects and aims to demonstrate the importance of deliberate educational activities towards the formation of the conscious background of values and attitudes of the students towards the protection and preservation and promotion of archaeological sites and monuments.
