Summary:
Α presentation of the Cherubic Hymns of Antonios the priest, composed according to the eight byzantine modes, in the manuscripts. A comparative morphological musical study on the cherubic hymns of the composers Antonios the priest and Panagiotis Chrysafis, used as a tool to comprehend the technique of Antonios in "syntmeseis". The study is concluded with an "exegesis" suggestion for the Cherubic Hymns of Antonios, mostly a revealed indirect "exegesis" through the study of the "exegesis" of Chourmouzios for the cherubic hymns of Panagiotis Chrysafis.
