Summary:
The present study concerns primary education and the forms of discrimination and exclusion which impede inclusion and construct exclusionary practices which are consolidated and institutionalized in Greek education. The aim of the present study is to eliminate discrimination and exclusion through the exploration of institutions and practices both in special and general school. Discrimination was studied in connection with exclusion. According to the research, discrimination as a concept even in the school environment, acquires racial, religious and gender dimensions. Discrimination is studied in the context of special and general education. The concept of disability seemed to be misunderstood by teachers.
