The restrictions on the use of the Internet in selective distribution systems
Summary:
The needs of modern economic reality have contributed to the creation of distribution and distribution systems for products and services. The title of this dissertation deals with selective distribution systems as they have been developed over the years, but the problem we are concerned with is mainly about issues arising from restrictions on the use of the Internet in selective distribution systems. In recent years, competition has been undergoing a constant internal reorganization, and for this reason, its preservation in the Internet is not without challenges. Not only competitive processes in platform-based markets are complex, but the analysis of competition itself is different. The latter is constantly changing and changing due to the difficulty of anticipating the effect of competition, particularly with regard to selective distribution systems operating in the Internet. Addressing the specific issues of competition law in a digital environment such as the Internet, there is a pressing need to review the basic concepts of competition law and their application. Concepts such as passive sales, third party platforms and luxury products will be defined equally as they play a key role in the new online marketplace. Is it finally the legitimate restrictions on the use of the Internet? The answer to this question depends, depending on the product of the distribution contract and the market in which the undertaking operates, and its position.
