Summary:
The diploma thesis studies the system of e-prescription, the legislative framework that governs it, its mode of operation and the parties involved. It also provides an overview of the Regulation on the protection of personal data, in particular health data and rights of individuals, and the responsibility of the controller and the processor, as well as the meaning of confidentiality and professional secrecy.
Finally, the last part links the legal framework for the protection of personal data with e-prescribing in order to find the legal basis that enables the processing of personal health data from the e-prescribing system, reference is made to the rights of the subjects , the obligations of the General Secretariat of Social Insurance and H.DI.KA SA and the responsibility of the latter against the former and propose the measures to be taken in order to protect the personal data of the subjects.
