Summary:
The following thesis consists of two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. In the theoretical part, will be discussing the advantages and disadvantages of ICT in education as well as the impact it has on students. In the second chapter, we will be thoroughly examining the different theories of learning. In the third chapter we will be analyzing the importance of ICT in the school subject of Physics. In the fourth chapter of this thesis, we are looking at the importance of simulations for the aforementioned school subject. In the theoretical part that follows and is comprised of the last two chapters, we are examining if a teaching intervention with simulation has a vital impact both on the knowledge and the students' attitude towards the subject of Physics. More specifically, the sixth chapter presents the statistical research and data, and finally the seventh chapter shows the results of this research.
