Summary:
In the present postgraduate work, the terms of Emotional and Social Intelligence, Emotional and Social Learning, so as the most effective programs which promote them and address to the primary school students in Greece and abroad, are being approached. The teacher who desires to cultivate the emotional and social skills of his/her students, owes to be aware of the function of emotions and their development during the middle childhood, is able to be trained in the content and intervention levels of Emotional and Social Learning Programs and choose the most effective of them, with parallel information about the documentation of their successful course. The teacher of Greek primary school, has the ability to include their elements in the school routine of students, by taking for granted the corresponding guide lines, which are provided to him from the national curriculum. During the chosen intervention, teacher could not realize his/her goals, if the pleasant cooperation between himself/ herself, family, school and local community, did not thrive. In conclusion, Emotional and Social Learning interventions, is possible to be embedded, directly in existing teaching objects.
