Summary:
The subject of this study is the comparative presentation of gender in Greek and Arabic languages, so that through the comparison of the specific languages, some conclusions can be drawn that will be useful in teaching Greek as a second language. The theoretical context in which we present this study is the teaching of Greek as a second/ foreign language to Arab students, depending on the theory of Contrastive Analysis from morphological, semantic and syntactic aspects, giving more emphasis to morphology. The study aims through the comparative presentation of the structures of the two languages to illuminate the difficult structures related to the concept of gender to facilitate students in their learning and the teachers in the management of the points of difference of the two languages.
