Summary:
Abstract

The present thesis entitled "Opinions and experiences of the special education philologists regarding the inclusive education" has as a main objective the investigation of the inclusive concepts of the special education philologists and their teaching practices.
The survey was conducted in the years 2017-2019 with a sample of six philologists working in Special Education. The research material was collected with the semi-structured interview. The sample was invited to give the interview at a sound studio in order to facilitate the recording of audio material. By implementing Google's “Speech to Text” program the audio material was converted to text. The qualitative method of content analysis includes grouped conclusions that respond to the research’s questions and arise mainly from the internal contradictions of each interview.
The findings of the survey highlight the positive attitude and perceptions of the special educators for inclusion, but their teaching practices tend to abstain from the purpose of it. This is because teachers tend to be unconsciously influenced by the perceptions of the traditional education system or they implement it under the pressure according to the school policy without embracing it.
