Summary:
In modern educational systems a change that concerns the role of the student is noticed: the student does not just receive information but also has an active and main role during the lesson. One of the suggested methods, in which the students learn by their own experiences, is called experiential. This method fosters the collaboration among the students and the lesson takes place in a more pleasant way. The teacher shows the way and the student through playful activities that requires cooperation and with the other students with the teacher and imagination is led to knowledge.
There are certain factors that define the class environment. A positive class environment is composed of amiability, cooperation and students full of motivation - all these occur when the teacher chooses to use the experiential method - and is quite possible that the child will eventually be a well-educated adult sufficiently equipped with social and other useful skills. Art is also proposed as a teaching tool because it gives the opportunity to students to use their imagination, increase their empathy and express themselves in a more creative way.
The subject of this project is the impact of experiential method on the class environment. The notes that were recorded during the teaching experience leaded to various interesting conclusions about the connection and interaction between the experiential knowledge and the class environment
