Summary:
The aim of this study was to detect teachers’ knowledge about speech and language disorders. A primary quantitative research was carried out on a sample of 135 teachers who were selected using the simple random sampling method. The research tool was a questionnaire with closed-ended questions, prepared by the researcher, based on the Anderson & Shames (2013) book. The results of the research have highlighted the good level of teachers’ knowledge of speech and language disorders. Also, the present analysis did not reveal statistically significant differences for gender, age, educational level and professional experience.
