Summary:
In the first chapter we describe the most important theorems about number fields and completions of fields. In the second chapter we prove the Diriclet Theorem but first we present the necessary theory about Dirichlet characters and Dirichlet series . In the third chapter we define Ray class groups and we present the approximation theorem . In the end we describe the most important theorems of class field theory .
