Atmosferic pollution of urban areas and allergic reactions to the general population
Summary:
Over time, people have realized that contaminated air has serious health effects. Weather and climate have an impact on human activities, resulting in the concentration of environmental pollution particles, namely chlorofluorocarbons, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen oxide, and many other gaseous particles.
These microparticles can go through the natural protective mechanism of the human respiratory system, playing an important role in generating and increasing allergic disorders.
This work analyzes air quality, the state of air pollution in Greece and the assessment of allergic symptoms and respiratory disorders.
The data are analyzed to assess the critical situation resulting from the emission of air pollutants and analyze the effects on human health due to respiratory diseases.
Finally, there are presented some proposals for air quality management and reduction of atmospheric pollution problems in Greece. It is also discussed various measures to be taken to maintain the balance between sustainable development and environmental management.
The conclusion is that atmospheric pollution has a significant impact on the worsening of asthma, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.
