Summary:
This research is about a very important step of the health system which is Primary Health Care (PHC). PHC consists the first patient’s contact with the health system. In the majority of European countries and other countries universally, PHC plays a significant role in health system. Particularly, according to studies, the more advanced the PHC of a health system is, the more efficient and effective the health system is. It is fact that in Greece, the PHC has many deficiencies as far as health services and structure are concerned. The subject of the study focuses on investigating the efficient operation of new PHC structures.
In addition, another subject that is investigated is patients’ satisfaction of primary health services. Indeed, in the modern competitive environment, the perception of health users about the health services they receive is very important, as it can provide important information on the way the system works overall. Furthermore, through the given opportunity to patients to express what bother them, it is possible for the health system to be improved.
