The present study pertains to the academic and administrative structure and organization of the university of Stanford. Starting with its foundation and purpose, it ends with today's reality and its contribution to the educational community. In the context of its academic structure, it examines the composition of the faculty, its contribution to the students, the structure and position of the academic staff and its placement in the field of distance learning. In terms of its administrative structure, the composition of the administrative staff, their responsibilities, the relationships developed between them, as well as the rules that follow for the proper functioning of the university, are investigated. Finally, the field of research and finance is considered, which holds a prominent position for the university and makes it one of the best universities in the world.
