Εlotuzumab rapresents the first immune-based therapy for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.Combination of elotuzumab with bortezomib/dexamethasone or lenalidomide / dexamethazone in the treatment of multiple myeloma showed significant benefits.In this review, we will assess the effects of elotuzumab therapy in patients with multiple myeloma from the pre-clinical trials to phase III studies.
