Summary:
This diploma thesis reveals the relationship between the concept of intercultural and the didactics of history in the classroom. The dynamic of history aims through the historical thinking in understanding the constant evolution of society through understanding the specific and multicultural characteristics of the present. By using the principles and objectives of intercultural education in the context of historical understanding, the path opens for a comprehensive recommendation of democratic thinking of young people through the historical course. As individual chapters of the work are analyzed the "intercultural dimension in school history", "historical sources and intercultural", "the role of experiential learning in intercultural empathy" and finally presented five (5) teaching Proposals aiming at the promotion of intercultural knowledge in the course of the school lesson in history. Finally, there is an effort to stop diversity being regarded as disadvantage but as an integral "part" of a reality, in which everyone has the same rights.
