Summary:
This study in the field of Educational Science deals with the language opinions, attitudes and prejudices of practicing and future teachers about language differentiation, student language error and language shift. The aim of the study is to investigate whether and how the aspect of language error changes in education if the language teachers accept certain theoretical assumptions of Theoretic, Applied and Education Linguistics. The theoretical part of the study presents the scientific data regarding language change, language error, and the relation between them. Moreover, there is information about the relation between language, community and school. In the research part, data collection and analysis in qualitative research was carried out - through twelve personal interviews in two time phases-, the research results were analyzed, and conclusions were drawn as to the reasons for the formation of teachers' language attitudes. Finally, an attempt has been made to present a teaching approach that will provide guidance in order to reconcile the conflicting assumptions of the science of Philology and the principles of Applied and Education Linguistics.
