Religious education in primary and secondary education in Greece. Historical Review and Critical Valuation

The thesis is titled "Religious education in primary and secondary education in Greece. Historical Review and Critical Valuation "and consists of 7 chapters. In the first chapter of the paper, the subject is delineated, while in the second chapter there is a historical review of the religious education in Greece.
Subsequently, the third chapter presents the course of religious education in foreign countries. Chapter four describes the legal framework of religious education and reforms until the 1950s, while chapter five discusses religious education in the modern educational system.
In the following chapters, the purpose of religious education in Greece is presented in detail. Specifically, chapter six describes the subject matter and purpose of the school textbooks of primary and secondary education, as well as the teaching of religious symbols.
Chapter seven describes the practice of teachers and the motivation to train them. The last part of the thesis lists the bibliographic references of the thesis.
