Summary:
The study addresses the fundamental issue of communication between health providers. The main findings include the importance of understanding of the relationship between therapeutic outcomes and communication, how they influence and affect the co-operation between health professionals and, finally, the quality of healthcare service. The study was based on the implementation of the TeamSTEPPS research tool applied to a population sample working in the medical, nursing, and administrative sectors of the "Hygeia" Hospital of Athens.
