Summary:
Globalization, a concept whose approach generates a variety of reactions and feelings, has invaded, since decades, seriously in our lives by influencing, we dare to say, without exaggeration, all its domains. Its impact on the field of education is for some people catalytic, especially as the years go by and societies acquire different characteristics from what recently was known and fact, while for others almost minor.
The purpose of this research is to establish this relationship between education and globalization and to explore the relationship between education and practices of governance.
Still, observing that in recent years international organizations have become more and more involved in educational policy, we are investigating in our work, in what ways they make their existence visible in this area and with what practices.
Finally, it would be default not to mention the "networks" of intergovernmental education, the "discourse" created around them, and the criticism that has been expressed about all these speeches and attitudes, regarding issues of national "initiative".
The findings of this paper, which is a bibliographic review of modern writing material, reveal not only the relation of modern education with all the mentioned concepts, but also their dynamic presence in it. Its criticism of these discourses and our conclusions raises the ground for further research at the level of the formation of large research groups, since the under consideration phenomena, can not be limited to the scope of a postgraduate work, but require an exhaustive literature review which is renewed daily, due to the contemporary character of the themes.
