Summary:
Multiple myeloma has an international correspondence ranging from 1% of malignant neoplasms in humans and from 10 to 15% of all malignant haematological diseases. An increase in disease worldwide has been observed in the order of 45 percent between 1940 and 1970. Also, the concept of patient quality of life is a concept that constantly changes and adapts to new desires, aspirations and needs. A general definition links the quality of health care to patient satisfaction, as the care provided meets the expectations of patients. Based on the above, this research studies how quality of life is related to adverse events in patients with this disease.
