Summary:
The purpose of this paper is to identify the level of integration of the description's structural elements into descriptive texts of elementary students. To conduct the survey students were given a questionnaire and were asked to produce a written essay. The results of the research showed partial absence of some structural elements which might exist due to lack of adequate text-editing activities and descriptive structure exercises in the textbooks.
