Summary:
The present research focuses on the school theatrical performance, the leading and most complex of the forms of Theater in Education (TiE), and the role of the teacher as a director. Specifically, after studying the relevant bibliography and defining the parameters and data, we will attempt to describe the processes and conditions for organizing, preparing and presenting a school theatrical performance in modern primary education and to discover the role of the teacher as educator, instructor and director throughout the whole process. Finally, based on the results of the research and in combination with the existing data, we will try to come to concrete conclusions and come up with new proposals for improving the existing conditions.
