The purpose of this essay is to study the performing arts (theater, music, dance) in the artistic program of Piraeus Municipal Theater at the time of 2013 to 2020. In particular, this essay aims through a historical-archival research to highlight the presence of the three performing arts and their possible differences from the reopening of the Piraeus Municipal Theater from 2013 to 2020 on the basis of a critical evaluation in one of the two Athena’s historical theaters. To achieve this purpose a historical-archival research that is part of an analytical research, i.e. an in-depth study, based on the available sources and information was carried out. Specifically, secondary sources were used (theater artistic program archive, printed theater promotional flyers, theater and other sources photographic archive and bibliography for performing arts and Municipal Theater). The performances from 2013 to 2020 have been recorded and categorized by type of production (Greek and foreign) and by type of performing art (theater, music, dance). It has been found that from 2014 onwards there were also foreign productions in the theater program. In addition, it was found that throughout the period under study, in the artistic program of Piraeus Municipal Theater, theatrical performances prevail, there is a significant number of music performances each year, while dance performances, though few, are not omitted.
