Summary:
It is commonly accepted that customer satisfaction is a fundamental factor for the viability and prosperity of an organization. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the level of customers’ satisfaction of the Municipality of Sparta, Greece fitness centers, as well as what demographic factors affect it. For the implementation of the present research, the quantitative method of data collection and analysis was used. The sample consisted of n = 40 participants in fitness programs in five different private fitness centers. Data was collected via a questionnaire. The results revealed that the level of satisfaction from the service received is high and that demographics i.e., gender, age, occupation, marital status, income, educational level, frequency of participation and the programs in which participants take part do not affect the level of their satisfaction.
