Sociopolitical, educational and pedagogical issues in the newspaper "Efimeris ton Kurion" of Kallirhoe Parren (1895-1931)

This diploma thesis deals with the most important political, social, educational and pedagogical issues published during the years from 1895 to 1931 in the newspaper entitled “Efimeris ton Kurion”, which was published in Athens by Kallirhoe Parren. In particular, initially the bibliographic research is performed in order to determine the historical and social context of the period under review, and then, the archival study of the pages of the “Efimeris ton Kurion” is followed, along with the selection of the relevant articles, the elaboration and the composition of the studied data and finally, the presentation of the conclusions. The primary goal of this work is to highlight central issues that presented in the “Efimeris ton Kurion”, in association with the political, social and educational developments of that time period.
