A bibliographic study on the relationship between popular music and digital and electronic technologies in the light of anthropology and ethnomusicology. Based on theoretical texts as well as ethnographic research conducted in a variety of contemporary music settings, I try to highlight the complex relationships that develop between people who "make" music using new digital tools.
