The Greek Folk Song in Printed Publications with Byzantine Parasimantiki 19th - 20th century
"The Greek Folk Song in Printed Publications with Byzantine Parasimantiki 19th - 20th century. "
The present thesis: "The Greek Folk Song in Printed Publications with Byzantine Parasimantiki 19th - 20th century" was prepared in order to research the Folk Song with Parasimantiki in the printed editions of the 19th and 20th century.
For this reason, the editions of these two centuries are examined on the basis of the time appearance and the evolution of the editions. The parallel bibliography is quoted and the purpose of the Thesis for our Folk song is added in relation to its Significant recording, until at the end the corresponding conclusions are drawn.
Methodologically, this thesis was based on bibliographic sources of these two centuries and in addition on subjective and objective conclusions through their research and indexing.
With the prospect that this thesis will offer a, as far as possible, complete and complete colection of the printed editions of our Folk songs in Byzantine Parasimantiki (and, in addition, European musical notation, in some editions) and with the hope of further enriching our tradition in our folk songs with similar colections, this work is delivered for the use and the enlightenment of those who want a research based on such a topic.
This thesis is dedicated to all my music teachers, and especially to my late conductor, Dimitrios Kanaris.
